Due to political instabilities, the Chinese government requires foreign visitors to be issued Tibet Travel Permits before entering the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR), and sometimes it can be hard to get for certain travelers, and yet meanwhile there is a big part of Tibetan culture outside of the TAR that can be just as unforgettable.

Tibet is an ideal destination for many who yearning to have a feeling of the icy wind blows from the Himalayas; standing amongst the burgundy-robed lamas and colorful prayer flags and papers flapping and flying under the high-altitude sky of crystal-blue, with distant nomad crew grazing their yaks.

May to October is the best time to visit Tibet, as oxygen is more adequate and weather is more stable and predictable .
